There is an OWL in my coffee

In #CoffeeHQ we just love photography. We are lucky enough to have some really good photography gear in the company that we are allowed to use for personal use. So we got all giddy when our new macro lens arrived (a Canon MP-E 65mm f2.8 1:5x Macro Lens if you’re interested). We have been playing around with it quite a bit, which led us into a discussion about images we have liked and ones we want to try to re-create with the new gear.

Of course, we ended up on various photo-sharing websites such as Flickr and Smugmug and of course Pinterest. Where I saw an image I remembered from last year. It seems to be doing the rounds again.

Real or Fake, does it matter?

These was a massive response of FAKE PHOTO from many viewers of the photo. One of my favourite tweets was: ‘there really was an owl in the cup. #real’

No matter how real the image really is, we think it’s beautiful.
