This American-style Carrot Cake Mix from Macphies is highly versatile, easy to make and delightful! Just add water and grated carrot for a flavourful dessert. Make muffins, loaf cake and much more with this brilliant mix.

Macphies Carrot Cake Mix allows for inclusions of your choice like fruit, chocolate or nuts. This will add a unique flavour and texture in your finished bake.

Mixing instructions (per 1000g mix, 200ml water and 300g grated carrot)

  1. Place all ingredients into a machine bowl fitted with a paddle. Add all liquids and mix on slow speed for 1 minute
  2. Mix for a further 3 minutes on medium speed.
  3. Mix for a final minute on slow speed

Approx scaling suggestions and baking times:

  • Baking Temperatures 180⁰c /360⁰F (Fan Assisted 160⁰c / 320⁰F)
  • 18x30 Sheets - Deposit between 4-5kg for 40-50 min
  • 800g Gateaux for 50-60 mins
  • 400g Loaf cake - for 40-50 mins
  • 120g Muffin – Bake for 30-35 mins
