Famed for its refreshing smell and tart flavour, the lemon is the acidic fruit of a small evergreen tree native to Asia. Its origin is something of a mystery, although it is thought to have originated from India and first entered Europe near Southern Italy in 1 AD. The juice, rind and zest of the lemon are all used in cooking, baking and to flavour drinks such as lemonade. Awaken the taste buds by adding the invigorating lemon juice taste and aroma of MONIN Lemon syrup to cocktails, sodas, teas and beers. **Please note:** Curdling can sometimes occur when milk is mixed with acidic flavours. Here are some top tips to avoid this. **Hot Chocolates & Mochas** - Mix syrup with chocolate powder or sauce first to help neutralise the acidity - Don’t heat the milk to more than 65 Degrees Celsius **Coffees** - Mix the syrup with the coffee shot first to help neutralise the acidity - Don’t heat the milk to more than 65 Degrees Celsius **Cold Drinks (Milkshakes & Iced Coffees)** - Shaking or blending the syrups with a vanilla based frappe powder will help prevent curdling We don’t recommend using this syrup with steamers. ## Product specifications ### Product details SKU: MOLE003 Barcode: 3052910056209 Brand: Monin Storage Instructions: Store in a dry, cool (<25°C) place and protected from light.
