Fresh lime juice keeps the flavour bright, while the orange note rounds off the acidity. It’s simple, reliable and consistently crisp, which is exactly how a Margarita should be. ## You will need - Cocktail shaker - Strainer - Coupette glasses ## Ingredients - 25 ml [MONIN Triple Sec](https://www.nextdaycoffee.co.uk/monin-triple-sec-syrup-700ml-937) - 50 ml Tequila Blanco - 25 ml Lime juice - 2 drops Saline solution - (optional) Salt the rim of glass --- **Tasting Notes:** Sharp, vibrant lime balanced by soft orange sweetness. Clean agave notes from the tequila give structure with a bright, refreshing finish. ## How to make MONIN Margarita 1. 1 Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. 2. 2 Add all ingredients shake hard. 3. 3 Fine strain into a chilled coupette glass. 4. 4 Enjoy! --- **Why This Recipe Works:** The sour-sweet-spirit trifecta sits in perfect proportion. Fresh lime keeps acidity crisp, while orange liqueur rounds sharp edges. Minimal ingredients mean consistency and clarity. ## Margarita Cocktail FAQs ### What tequila should I use? A quality blanco tequila gives the cleanest, brightest flavour. ### Do I need to salt the rim? It’s optional but enhances citrus and balances acidity. ### Can I make it blended? Yes. Blend with ice for a frozen Margarita. ### Can I make it without alcohol? Use lime juice, orange syrup and lemonade. ### Should it be shaken or stirred? Shaken, this will blend the citrus and spirits properly. ![Monin Margarita](https://www.nextdaycoffee.co.uk/images/recipes/Monin-Cocktails/margarita-cocktail-recipe-001.jpg) ## About this recipe A sharp, citrus-led classic with lime sweetness and a salty edge, built for anyone who wants instant holiday energy without leaving the house.
