Decaffeinated using a natural Ethyl Acetate process, derived from pure sugar cane and combined with high mountain spring water. This gentle method preserves the rich flavour and aroma of the beans while carefully removing caffeine. This results in coffee just as satisfying as our regular coffee, without the buzz. Ethyl Acetate is a compound naturally found in fruits, vegetables, and even coffee cherries themselves. By using this naturally occurring ingredient, we’re able to offer a more authentic, clean, and environmentally considerate decaffeination process — no harsh chemicals, just great coffee. ## Product specifications ### Product details SKU: BEEV004M Barcode: 5060240813025 Brand: Caffe Roma Storage Instructions: Store in a cool dry place Case size: 6 x 1kg per case. Good service, recommended” **George Armson** · 23 Apr 2021 > “Great product, great price.” **Kevin Bazeley** · 31 Mar 2021 > “Best decaf beans around, and excellent value. The Lavazza Dek tastes similar but is dearer and I also had to grind the (much smaller) beans much coarser to stop it clogging my machine. Douwe Egberts is also no nicer (I'm fairly convinced these are the same beans), and dearer. Side by side with my normal lavazza red, yes you can tell, but I haven't found a better decaf and it's very nice. I was going to try the cuore di moka, but I don't see the point! 6kg does me for most of the year, drinking 2-3 cups a day. And it always arrives next day, as promised - thanks nextday coffee!” **Customer** · 3 Feb 2021 > “I gave up caffine in January 2020 and have been buying all my beans for my office at Next Day Coffee. I bought some decaf Illy coffee beans so I could have the tin to store future coffee in (which cost more than double the price of this coffee per kilo), and I can safely say this Caffe Roma decaf coffee tastes miles better. While this may be a blend it doesn't taste premium to me. I was disappointed with this coffee.” **Martin Ainley** · 20 Jan 2019 > “Really happy with these (decaffeinated) coffee beans. I was nervous about placing a large order, in case I didn't like the taste, so I ordered the 1kg bag of Caffe Roma Decaffeinated Coffee Beans. Even taking the delivery costs into account by placing a small order, I was still winning when compared to buying the little bags which you get at the supermarket, enough to do my taste test anyway. I have been delighted with their performance in my bean to cup machine, with a strong pleasant flavour, so will be ordering the 6kg pack next time around. Everyone's different, though I would recommend that two of the (Beko ceg7425b) machine's 'medium cups' - set to it's strongest setting and made with these beans - into a standard household mug & topped up with hot frothed milk makes the perfect cuppa!” **Forte School of Music** · 10 Jan 2019 > “Great decaf coffee with a strong flavour. So I decided to give this a try based on the reviews. Sad to say I'm a bit disappointed and won't getting it again. The only positive thing I can say is it don't have that particular taste that you can find in a lot decafs.” **Scott** · 5 Nov 2018 > “Really good decaf coffee beans.” **Mat** · 11 Oct 2018 > “Haven't had this coffee before but will be ordering it again” **Emil Egholm** · 3 Oct 2018 > “Used these for a few years now,,, always a nice cup of coffee” **Gordon paolozzi** · 26 Aug 2018 > “As per the 4kg bag review fer crying out loud! Taste the same good as standard beans allows drink cups non stop without bloodpressure rising” **Janis Broks** · 22 Mar 2018 > “Finding decaf beans is not an easy task, particularly if you don't want to get rinsed out on cost. The Caffe Roma is a robust and tasty bean without the shakes and headaches. Buy with confidence.” **Pete** · 9 Dec 2017 > “This Decaffeinated coffee is good strong taste with bitter burn chocolate flavour, not for all. The extra glossiness of the beans could give problem if you have an automatic coffee machine at home. The shiny over the beans are the oil of the beans that comes out for the very strong roasting. If the coffee is grind fine like Italian espresso the coffee powder could create a kind of water proof sealed wall, too much oil on the surface on the beans. this happen for the machine that not have high bars pressure and not sturdy built inside. So for professional machine no problems, for home machine have a try, if the water spill all over. is not your machine and is not broken simply the water can`t find the way out, you need to change brand that offer you no too shiny beans or at least make the coffee more coarse even is not the same.” **GIU** · 5 Dec 2017 > “A bit on the weak side meaning that we have to use more beans which in turn makes it more expensive. It does not seem that they are FairTrade.” **Andy in Hawick** · 30 Nov 2017 > “Can only drink decaffeinated coffee.
