To clarify IF i have to by beans from a supermarket i’m The person that squeezes the bag to see what they smell like, you can tell how fresh they are by how bitter or the sweeter smell of the aroma of that bean. Sadly all three packets failed this test, but not to be put off I put them in my very good quality bean to cup machine and still hoped to enjoy. However the coffee is awful, I have tried all different settings on my machine to try and change the taste as it’s not my usual bean, but to no avail. I have thrown this packet and the other packet away (2kilos). I have yet to try the “caffe Roma Italia” bean, so have not reviewed.
