I love the electric blue colour of this wonderful looking cocktail. The first time I attempted to make this cocktail I had never tasted blue curaçao before. I had no idea what the flavour was going to be like, all I knew was I loved the colour. I remember my first sip. **WOW.** I was so shocked when I tasted the delicious **tangy orange flavour**, it took my be surprise as I was expecting something cool and refreshing. This tangy blue champagne cocktail has become a firm favourite recipe of mine. They are quick and easy to make, perfect for any celebration! ## Ingredients:

- Champagne
- 1 fl oz [Blue Curaçao syrup](https://www.nextdaycoffee.co.uk/blue-curacao-syrup)
- 1 fl oz orange infused vodka\*
- Coloured Cocktail Sugar\*\* (optional)
- [Sugar Cane Syrup](https://www.nextdaycoffee.co.uk/cane-sugar-gomme-syrup) (optional)
- Cherry & Orange Slice (optional)

*We used Grey Goose Orange flavoured vodka as it was already pre-infused, but you can infuse any vodka with orange yourself. ** We have also coloured sugar with syrups, which was messy but fun ;) Do it in advance and allow the sugar to dry out. ## Method:

- Pour a little sugar cane syrup in a saucer and dip the rim of the champagne glasses into it
- Next dip the rim of the champagne glasses into the cocktail sugar
- Add the vodka and blue curaçao to the glass.
- Fill to the brim with champagne
- Garnish with cherry and orange slice.

I really hope you give this quick recipe a try. They are simply delicious and super fast to make. You can also use different flavours of vodka and syrup to create your own recipe ideas.
