Packaging

We use recycled paper for packaging our fragile items, and try to use recycled boxes whenever possible.  We also source as many products as possible with recyclable containers and packaging. All the outer boxes we use to pack your goods in are made of recycled cardboard, and recyclable again, so please do try to recycle them wherever possible.

Recycling

As well as ensuring everything we send out for delivery is as green as possible, we also have to deal with incoming mail and packaging. In our offices we recycle all paper, cardboard and toner cartridges.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations:

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE) Regulations are now UK law. All European member States including the UK have agreed to reduce the amount of WEEE that is being disposed of in landfill sites.

It is important that the amount of WEEE going into landfill is reduced because:

• Some WEEE can be re-used or recycled
• UK landfill space is decreasing
• WEEE can contain hazardous substances
